Professional History

I started cooking with my grandmother when I was five years of old. I’ve had a passion for food ever since. While attending Sky view High in Soldotna Alaska I worked in several local restaurants and after graduation I decide to seek formal training.

I attended Alaska Vocational College in Seward Alaska and continued my education at the Art Institute of Seattle. I completed a one year apprentice program with the Washington Chefs Association. I have held the position of chef in restaurants and hotels in Alaska and Washington for the last eighteen years.

I spent seven years with Brews Brothers LLC. As the Executive Chef of Glacier Brewhouse before starting my own company 2 Chefs LLC. And Thirty Six Bistro with my business partner Jeff LaKomski.

I am an active member of the Alaska Culinary Association and the American Culinary Federation. Board member treasurer 2007-2009. Co-chairing local fundraisers and participating in local activities.
